Hey lovely, I’m Roxy – your Filter Free Business Coach.
Happy wife, messy mum, multiple business owner, website wizard, business coach, psychotherapist, travel lover, meditator, course junkie, girl geek, sports superfan, book binger, block buster, emotional empath.

Feel like you’re stuck in a cycle of guilt and pressure?
Trying to balance your business, or find time to build it?
No idea what business coaching does, or how a business coach can help you?
I’ve SO been in your shoes.
My passion is empowering and supporting business women.
Back in my corporate career days, I was known as the girl who would ‘get stuff done’. I thrived on late nights, short deadlines and high pressure, surrounded by trailblazing women who talked fast, aimed high and taught me valuable life lessons…
That you can be confident and kind… glamorous and giving… career-driven and caring.
Informal business coaching and training was commonplace – I just didn’t realise it at the time!
And then I became a mum!
Yowch was that a game changer?! It blew everything I knew out of the water.
However, another child on, I realised it was time to put into practice all the things I’d learned – and time to teach them to you.
Whether you want to make a difference doing what you love, create a giant empire, or have a comfortable life while keeping some other humans alive, as a Filter Free Business Coach I will help you create and build something that is truly reflective of who you are!
It’s time to forget who the world thinks you should be and start being who you want to be.

Warning! I’m not a fluffy, filtered version of a business coach.
I’m gritty, hands-on, passionate and Filter Free!
We’re in this together.
Before building my own businesses, I had a past life as a corporate sales lady in a very well-known confectionery company (and I got free chocolate!) I worked in law, media and retail before I became disheartened with the ethics and attitudes. I then moved into a successful career in the care and medical industry where I worked in hospitals, nursing homes and in the community.
It was tough… but I loved it.
I became aware of the fact that many patients and relatives were unable to access supportive mental health services that they required within a reasonable time frame. This – and the birth of my first son, Charley, in 2014 – inspired me to create Mind Matters Therapies Ltd, an award-winning private practice, helping clients to overcome mental, physical and emotional issues.
Leaving my career behind, embarking on a journey as an entrepreneur and building a business around my family was both exciting and terrifying! There were glorious highs and emotional lows. I gained so much, but I also had to let go of a great deal… my idea of who I was and my idea of who I ‘should’ be.
This was where I started to learn tech. Where I couldn’t get a website built that was both easy to use AND that I absolutely loved! I threw myself into learning everything I needed to around design and tech. I started hosting my own site and understanding the fundamentals.
My second son, Finn, arrived in February 2017, and with him came the birth of my second business: The High Heels Society!
I loved this business. It perfectly married my “let’s crack on” attitude and allowed me to keep my toes into a corporate field that I thought I wasn’t ready to leave behind.
Bahahahahahaha!
Somewhere in the midst of this idea I had a humongous realisation that I’m now so far away from a corporate professional woman I can’t explain. It didn’t fit anymore. I didn’t like it anymore. But I absolutely KNEW I wanted to work with businesswomen. I understand you, you see! I get the mental load we carry that even the most wonderful of men like my husband definitely don’t have.
Busy Business Mum was born and I never looked back – though I have rebranded along the way. I build websites, and teach women exactly how to use the tech that might previously feel unfathomable! I do a LOT of business coaching, training, mentoring and still have a private mental health therapy practice. The lines blur and merge wonderfully – because, well, that’s life. There are no hard and straight boundaries! I adore my clients and have a lovely, crazily busy life. I absolutely LOVE working for myself.
I’ve since combined Mind Matters and Busy Business Mum under just my own name – Roxy Rhodes Ltd, which houses Roxy Rhodes Therapy and Filter Free Business so it’s easier to manage.
Originally Filter Free Business was just called Roxy Rhodes Business Coaching, but I had a lightning bolt epiphany (while in the shower, which is where most of my ideas are born) that I wanted it to be REALLY clear – this is not some fluffy, filtered version of business coaching. It’s gritty, hands-on and passionate!
I can’t wait to work with you!
Roxy xx
